Join us on Tuesday, July 18th for the New York City debut performance of Acosta Danza's El Cruce Sobre El Niágara, hosted by Cuban Artists Fund and Broadway Cares.

Havana-based company Acosta Danzafounded by dance legend Carlos Acosta, is defined as a space for renovation, research, and experimentation, not only for Cuban artists, but it also opens its doors to creators worldwide, including choreographers, musicians, designers, visual artists, and audiovisual. 


Choreography premiered by Cuban Contemporary Dance in 1987, and inspired by the homonymous play by the Peruvian playwright Alonso Alegría, Casa de las Americas Award in 1969. Boan’s El Cruce Sobre El Niágara is one of the most important choreographies of modern Cuban dance.
